The city of Karditsa is set to launch the ‘Ice Age’ themed park featuring giant extinct mammals such as woolly rhinoceroses and mammoths. Local authorities, including the regional government and Chamber of Commerce, collaborated to create the park and organize events aimed at making Karditsa a destination during the Christmas season. Petros Papadakos, a member of the Karditsa Chamber of Commerce, highlighted ambitions for the city to become a stable holiday destination over the coming years.
