Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer has emotionally paid tribute to his younger brother Nick Starmer, who died at the age of 60 on Boxing Day after a long battle with cancer. Starmer expressed gratitude for the care Nick received and reflected on the challenges and bullying his brother faced throughout his life due to his learning disabilities. Starmer’s personal connection to his brother was highlighted by several visits to Nick in the hospital, which he kept out of the public eye. Condolences were also extended from Conservative leader Kemi Badenoch.
