Kevin Sinfield Completes 230-Mile Run for Motor Neurone Disease Awareness
Rugby star Kevin Sinfield completed a grueling 230-mile run across the UK in memory of his late teammate Rob Burrow, who succumbed to motor neurone disease. Sinfield’s challenge, consisting of seven ultra marathons in seven days, raised over £1 million for MND charities. Despite facing a muscle injury, he expressed pride in finishing the run, which culminated near his home in Greater Manchester. This marked Sinfield’s fifth charity effort since Burrow’s diagnosis in 2019, and he has raised over £11 million overall for the cause.
