Kim Leadbeater Selects Committee for Assisted Dying Bill Review

Labour MP Kim Leadbeater has formed a committee of 14 members, including two ministers, to scrutinize the Terminally Ill Adults (End of Life) Bill. The committee will review the legislation, which aims to give individuals in England and Wales the right to choose to end their lives under certain conditions. The MPs will meet regularly starting in January, holding public hearings and proposing amendments before the bill returns to the House of Commons in April 2024.
