King Charles Presents Inaugural Elizabeth Emblems to Fallen Emergency Workers
King Charles has awarded the first Elizabeth Emblems to over 30 public servants, including police and firefighters who died on duty. The ceremony, held at Windsor Castle, honored individuals dating back more than 70 years, with families receiving recognition for their loved ones’ sacrifices. The awards feature a rosemary wreath, symbolizing remembrance, and an inscription commemorating their service. Among those remembered was firefighter Leslie Marsh, whose children expressed pride in their father’s recognition after decades of waiting.
