A significant fire has erupted in agricultural remnants in various areas of the Irakelia Municipality, including Nera Tyrolis, Anagennisi, and Vamvakia. Starting at 15:40, 80 firefighters, supported by three ground teams and 29 vehicles, are battling the flames. While the fire does not threaten inhabited areas, its extent is substantial, and efforts to extinguish it are ongoing through the night. Currently, there is no active front, just scattered fire spots. The fire brigade has made four arrests in connection with this incident, similar to a fire that occurred ten days ago in the same region.
