On November 6, 2024, a study titled ‘Economic and Productive Reconstruction of Almyros’ was presented to Greece’s Deputy Minister for Climate Crisis and Civil Protection, Christos Triantopoulos. Developed by the Center for Planning and Economic Research (KEPE), the study aims to address the area’s recovery following severe natural disasters in September 2020 and September 2023. Key figures from KEPE and local government attended the presentation, underscoring ongoing support for Almyros’ development and reconstruction efforts. A public presentation in Almyros is anticipated soon.
