Learning Gaps Affecting 2 in 10 Greek Primary and Secondary School Students

A recent report by the Authority for Quality Assurance in Primary and Secondary Education reveals that at least 20% of primary and secondary students in Greece struggle to answer basic language questions, while 25% face challenges in mathematics. The study, involving 6,000 students, highlights significant difficulties in comprehension and expression, alongside undiagnosed learning disabilities such as dyslexia, affecting 5 to 15% of students. Experts recommend early intervention and assessment starting from the third grade to address these learning gaps.
