The spokesperson for the Greek Association of Property Owners, Manos Kranidis, emphasized the necessity of legislative regulation to resolve conflicts among residents in apartment buildings regarding electric vehicle charging. During a radio interview, he pointed out that without clear legislation, decisions are left up to the apartment assembly, which can lead to dangerous makeshift solutions. Deputy Minister of Infrastructure and Transport, Vasilis Oikonomou, also noted the challenges faced by older apartment complexes and highlighted ongoing government efforts to promote electric vehicles in the country.
