Maurice Boland, 37, was sentenced to life in prison for the unprovoked murder of 26-year-old Cian Gallagher in Co Waterford, which occurred on November 23, 2022. Gallagher’s family expressed that his values were violated by this senseless act of violence. At the time of the attack, Boland was out on bail for another offense.
