Limerick has been chosen as the host city for the 2025 European Dodgeball Championships, taking place from June 26 to 29. Over 600 athletes from 21 countries will participate in men’s, women’s, and mixed events. The championships are anticipated to generate an economic boost of €500,000 for the Shannon region. City officials highlighted the event’s significance for Limerick’s sporting culture, marking the first championships to feature both cloth and foam ball formats.
