Lufthansa is set to hire approximately 10,000 new employees this year, marking a significant expansion despite challenges faced by other sectors. The airline is actively seeking to fill positions across various roles, including over 2,000 in Lufthansa Technik, as well as cabin crew, technical jobs, and administrative positions. Additionally, about 800 pilots will be recruited, with more than half of the new hires planned for Germany. The company is also approaching a stake in the Italian state airline Ita, which has drawn scrutiny from the EU Commission.
