A man in his 40s has been arrested in connection with the murder of 31-year-old Paula Canty in Mallow, Co Cork. Canty’s body was discovered at her home last Friday. Originally from Kinsale, she had recently moved to Mallow. A murder investigation was initiated following a post-mortem examination, and the suspect is currently being held at a garda station in the southern region.
