Marin Silaghi, 40, has been charged in connection with a hit-and-run accident that resulted in the death of 16-year-old Kedagh Moore in Co Kildare. The incident occurred early Sunday morning on the R403 in Blackwood. Silaghi, who recently moved to Ireland from Romania, is accused of hitting Moore and failing to stop. He was arrested hours later at a checkpoint and has been remanded in custody pending further court appearances, with additional charges expected.
