Man Charged with Attempted Murder After London Car Incident
A 30-year-old man, Anthony Gilheaney, has been charged with four counts of attempted murder after a car struck four pedestrians in London’s West End on Christmas Day. The incident occurred in Soho when the vehicle was on the wrong side of the road. One victim is critically injured, and Gilheaney faces additional charges related to dangerous driving and possession of a bladed article. He has been remanded in custody and is scheduled to appear at the Old Bailey on January 24.
