Man Sentenced to Life for Murdering Pub Goer Over Karaoke Dispute
Christopher Cooper, 39, received a life sentence for the murder of 64-year-old Kelvin Evans, whom he attacked over perceived mockery of his partner’s karaoke singing. The incident occurred outside the Station Hotel pub in Swansea, where Cooper punched Evans in a fit of rage. Accomplice Catherine Tracy Francis, 54, was also sentenced for assisting an offender. The judge condemned Cooper’s actions as cowardly and noted the lack of remorse shown by both individuals.
