Marco Schwarz Makes Comeback at Val d’Isère Slalom Following Injury Setbacks

Austrian skier Marco Schwarz is set to return to competition at the Slalom event in Val d’Isère this Sunday after a lengthy recovery from injuries. The 29-year-old confirmed his participation on Instagram. Schwarz suffered a serious knee injury during a World Cup downhill race in Bormio nearly a year ago, which included a torn ACL and meniscus damage. He faced additional health challenges over the summer, requiring surgery for a herniated disc. Before his injuries, Schwarz was a leading contender for the overall World Cup title.
