Master Smuggler Amanj Hasan Zada Sentenced to 17 Years for Human Trafficking
Amanj Hasan Zada, dubbed the ‘best smuggler’, has been sentenced to 17 years in prison for facilitating illegal crossings from France to the UK. The 34-year-old Iranian national was found guilty of three counts during a trial at Preston Crown Court. Zada operated a sophisticated smuggling enterprise, profiting from perilous journeys undertaken by Kurdish migrants. The National Crime Agency highlighted ongoing investigations into similar operations, emphasizing the danger posed by smugglers who prioritize profit over human lives. Zada’s methods included advertising crossings on social media and leveraging videos to boast about his activities.
