Mayotte School Reopening Delayed Due to Cyclone Damage
Jacques Mikulovic, the rector of Mayotte, announced a phased reopening of schools starting January 20 after Cyclone Chido caused significant damage. The reopening will occur in three phases, beginning with administrative and pedagogical staff from January 13 to 17. Students will return from January 20 to 24, with tailored approaches for each institution. The final phase aims to stabilize operations by the end of February, emphasizing safety and continuity in education amidst the ongoing recovery efforts.
