A memorial honoring police officer Ilias Kostenis will be unveiled in Itea, Florina on December 8, 2024. The event, organized by the Western Macedonia Region, pays tribute to Kostenis, who was fatally wounded in the line of duty on the same date in 2013. The ceremony will take place in the local square named after him and will be attended by political figures, military representatives, and community members.
