A judge has ruled that former Manchester City player Benjamin Mendy, acquitted of multiple sexual assault charges, is entitled to salary compensation since he was unable to fulfill his contract due to a Football Association suspension and bail conditions. Mendy’s lawyers argued that City had a choice to terminate his contract or keep paying him.
