The metro stations ‘University’ and ‘Monastiraki’ in Athens were reopened under orders from the Greek Police after being temporarily closed due to a protest marking the 16th anniversary of Alexandros Grigoropoulos’s death. Following the closure, trains continued to pass through the stations without stopping.
