Author Mihalis Albatis will unveil his latest book, ‘The Abolition of Time’, at a special event in Volos on November 12, 2024. The narrative follows a 13-year-old Jewish boy during the 1941 occupation of Czechoslovakia, who escapes the horrors faced by his community by hiding in a bookshelf-filled attic. Throughout the war, he instills a spirit of rebellion in two friends as they strive to realize their visions against the backdrop of conflict. The event will feature a discussion between Albatis and Dr. Magdalini Thoma, a scholar and writer.
