The Greek Ministry of Education is initiating efforts to connect vocational studies with the job market, starting with a new vocational training school in Kilkis set to open in September 2025. The school will focus on mechatronics specialties to fulfill local industry needs for skilled workers. Education Minister Kyriakos Pierrakakis announced that decisions regarding the school’s location, administration, and training guide will be made shortly.
