A magnitude 2.1 earthquake was felt in several areas of Athens this morning, according to seismologist Efthymios Lekkas. The quake occurred at 7:57 AM with a focal depth of 5 km, located 2 km northwest of Gerakas. Lekkas described it as a very minor tremor, notable for its shallow depth, which made it more perceptible.
