Claire Button, 35, has been charged with the murder of her five-year-old son, Lincoln Button, who died on December 15 in South Ockendon, Essex. She made her first court appearance at Southend Magistrates’ Court, where she confirmed her identity. Button is currently in custody and is scheduled to appear at Chelmsford Crown Court via video link on Tuesday.
