Mother Launches Campaign for Infant CPR Guidelines in Red Books
Hayley Gardyj, from Melksham, UK, is campaigning to include infant CPR advice in children’s red books after successfully resuscitating her eight-week-old son, Brodie, who had stopped breathing. Her initiative aims to print QR codes linking parents to first aid training videos. Following the incident, in which Brodie experienced a collapsed lung, Gardyj emphasized the need for CPR information in health records provided to new parents, hoping to make CPR training mandatory for all new parents.
