Mount Lewotobi Erupts Again, Causing Panic in Indonesia
Indonesia’s Mount Lewotobi Laki-laki has erupted multiple times, igniting fear among residents following deadly explosions earlier this week. The volcanology agency recorded seven eruptions, with one sending ash 8,000 meters into the air. Officials have established a 7 km exclusion zone around the volcano on Flores Island, as over 10,000 individuals now reside in temporary shelters. Authorities continue to issue warnings about possible flash floods and cold lava flows in the affected areas.
