NASA has shared a captivating image of a star cluster known as the ‘Christmas Tree Cluster’, featuring young stars ranging in age from one to five million years. The image, enhanced with data from the Chandra X-ray Observatory, showcases these stars as blue and white lights surrounded by swirling gas, representing the ‘pine needles’ of the tree, with green indicating visible light. The cluster is located approximately 2,500 light-years away from Earth.
