Naxos has begun its promotional season with two new international accolades, being recognized as a top hidden gem in Europe by MSN.com. The island ranks fourth among 30 locations, praised for its authentic Greek island experience, beautiful beaches, and traditional villages. The tourism sector has seen a significant boost, with a reported 10.6% increase in ferry arrivals and a 32% rise in air travel compared to last year. This recognition follows Naxos’ participation in the WTM 2024 international tourism exhibition in London and a recent award for being the top sustainable destination in Greece.
