New Accessibility Signage Unveiled in Thessaloniki

Thessaloniki has introduced new clear signage for the blind walking guide leading to the City Hall entrance, initiated by the accessibility organization Act Now with the support of the municipality. This marks the first step in a broader effort to ensure unhindered movement for visually impaired individuals throughout the city. The unveiling was attended by Mayor Stelios Angeloudis and Leandros, a young boy with vision problems, whose experience inspired the creation of Act Now. The mayor emphasized the city’s responsibility to enhance access for all citizens.
