New Clean Air Campaign Launched for Construction Sites in Ireland
A coalition including the Irish Congress of Trade Unions, the Construction Industry Federation, and the Construction Workers Health Trust has launched the Clean Air Site Campaign to enhance air quality and protect construction workers from silica dust exposure. The initiative encourages monitoring of air quality and adoption of safe work practices, promoting responsible employer practices through a Clean Air Site flag. The campaign aims to raise awareness about occupational hygiene and improve health standards on construction sites across Ireland.
