New Courthouse Building Planned for Mytilene to Address Judicial Needs
Greek Justice Minister Giorgos Floridis has announced plans for a new building for the North Aegean Appeals Court in Mytilene. This decision, made during his visit for the 112th anniversary of the city’s liberation, aims to address ongoing housing issues for the court. Floridis assured that funding has been secured and that a study for the project will soon be commissioned. Local officials, including New Democracy MP Charalambos Athanasiou, expressed satisfaction, with the legal community emphasizing the project’s significance after years of challenges.
