Greece is launching a new energy savings initiative, ‘Exoikonomo’, which is set to help over 11,500 households with a budget of €434 million. Key requirements include upgrading properties by at least three energy classes and achieving energy savings of a minimum of 30%. The eligible budget has increased from €25,000 to €35,000, with subsidies starting at 50% and potentially reaching 100% for specific vulnerable groups, including low-income families and those affected by natural disasters.
