The Greek Secretary of Commerce and Consumer Protection, Sotiris Anagnostopoulos, launched the ‘Santa’s Basket’ initiative, aimed at providing consumers with a variety of affordable gift options for children during the holiday season. The initiative seeks to assist consumers in finding the best prices through an online platform. Anagnostopoulos also discussed current price trends for holiday food items, highlighting decreases in the costs of lamb and goat, while noting increases in juice and olive oil prices. The program will remain active until early January.
