Greek Deputy Minister of Finance, Nikolaos Papathanasis, announced the creation of more than 1,500 jobs through an investment plan under the Fair Development Transition Program. With 340 approved projects totaling €250 million, the plan includes €150 million in subsidies, aimed at fostering existing and new businesses. The program will also establish a new fund to lend €180 million, offering interest-free loans for half the capital. Regional Governor Georgios Amanatidis emphasized the importance of this initiative for business support, and the new development strategy includes measures to expedite investments.
