New Job Programs in Greece to Support Unemployed Individuals

Spiros Protopsalts, head of Greece’s Public Employment Service (DYPA), announced the launch of programs aimed at helping unemployed individuals aged 30 to 59. Eligible applicants can receive up to €17,000 to start their own businesses. New training initiatives focusing on artificial intelligence and digital skills will also commence in early 2025, with ongoing programs catering to various age groups and needs, including support for disabled individuals. The funding for these efforts will be partially provided by the Recovery Fund and ΕΣΠΑ.
