New Labor Contract Proposal Submitted by the KKE in Greece
The Communist Party of Greece (KKE), led by Secretary Dimitris Koutsoumpas, has submitted a new law proposal aimed at labor contracts, endorsed by 627 trade unions. The bill seeks to abolish anti-labor provisions from previous legislation and ensures the reinstatement of collective bargaining rights, including the return of 13th and 14th salaries for workers. It opposes government measures perceived as detrimental to workers’ rights and highlights ongoing economic struggles faced by employees amidst rising living costs.
