Gardaí have resumed their search for the remains of William Maughan and Anastasija Varslavane, missing since April 2015, focusing on specific bog land in north County Dublin identified by cadaver dogs. Initially reported missing after failing to meet Mr. Maughan’s mother, the investigation was escalated to a murder case in 2016. Despite extensive efforts, including seven arrests, no charges have been laid. Authorities continue to urge anyone with information to contact them, ensuring the confidentiality of all tips.
