NFL Launches Campaign to Promote Flag Football for Children in Ireland
The NFL has initiated a campaign aimed at encouraging children in Ireland to participate in flag football, a non-contact version of American football. In collaboration with Sport Ireland and American Football Ireland, the initiative aims to increase youth participation to 50,000 over three years. The campaign coincides with the NFL’s first regular-season game in Ireland, featuring the Pittsburgh Steelers at Croke Park, with details to be announced in May. The program has already engaged around 1,000 children in the Dublin area.
