Norwegian Court Denies Parole for Mass Murderer Anders Behring Breivik
A Norwegian court has denied Anders Behring Breivik’s request for early release from prison. Breivik, who killed 77 people in a 2011 terrorist attack, plans to appeal the decision. During a recent hearing, he claimed that his violent actions were ‘necessary.’ Currently serving a 21-year sentence, Breivik can reapply for parole a year after each rejection.
