He criticized the political discourse that targets groups based on the actions of individuals, urging the need for a safer environment for the Jewish community. Omtzigt also discussed internal party challenges following the resignation of several members and his cautious return to the Tweede Kamer after a medical leave. The party, established in summer 2023, is currently facing low polling numbers.
