An old stone house in the Ixias area of Rhodes collapsed last night, crushing a car underneath. The house, deemed dilapidated, succumbed to the torrential rain that struck the island on November 30. Local residents had reportedly been urging the municipality of Rhodes for years to inspect the property and take necessary measures to prevent such incidents.
