The city of Olten has received approval from voters to renovate its lakeside pool for a total of 7.4 million francs. The project aims to update the changing rooms and restaurant by 2026 while preserving features from the original 1930s design. With the facility being 90 years old, urgent repairs are needed due to structural issues. Funding will cover various improvements, with construction bids set to be announced in December. The renovations are scheduled to begin after the 2025 season and should be completed by May 2026.
