Gabriella Papadakis and Guillaume Cizeron, the acclaimed figure skating duo, have announced their retirement from competitive skating after a break that began in 2022. The athletes, who have been partners since childhood, have secured numerous titles, including five European Championships, five World Championships, and an Olympic gold in 2022. Following their Olympic success, Papadakis took time off for mental health reasons but recently returned to perform in shows. She expressed interest in exploring various artistic fields post-retirement, including writing and theater.
