Oscar Smit Wins 58th Cameretten Festival with Clever Humor

Oscar Smit, a 31-year-old comedian and legal professional from Utrecht, won the prestigious Cameretten Festival, praised for his smart jokes and meticulous details. Competing against Hermes Ahmadi and Luuk Weggemans in a sold-out final in The Hague, Smit was awarded a trophy and a €2000 prize. Luuk Weggemans received both the audience award and the personality prize for his energetic performance. The three finalists will embark on a tour starting December 6. Cameretten, the longest-running cabaret festival in the Netherlands, has a rich history since its inception in 1966.
