Over 100 Passengers Seek Compensation After Norovirus Outbreak on P&O’s Ventura

More than 100 passengers are pursuing compensation after suffering from norovirus during a P&O Cruises voyage on the Ventura. The outbreak reportedly affected 519 travelers in May, during a two-week trip from Southampton to the Canary Islands. Passengers claim the cruise line downplayed the situation and inadequately communicated the health risks. Lawyers representing the affected guests assert that repeated outbreaks aboard the ship indicate a failure in managing health protocols. P&O has apologized and committed to responding to the claims. Similar incidents were reported on another P&O ship, Aurora, around the same time.
