A new potential epidemic has emerged in the Democratic Republic of Congo following an Mpox outbreak, with over 130 deaths linked to an unidentified illness presenting flu-like symptoms. The disease, affecting mainly women and children, has prompted local health authorities to investigate and implement hygiene measures. The World Health Organization is also involved, working closely with local officials to collect samples and determine the nature of the illness.
