The Liberal Democrats have revealed that over the past two years, the UK’s Ministry of Defence has lost or had stolen several firearms, including a deactivated World War One machine gun and a Glock 19 pistol. Additionally, more than 700 electronic devices such as phones and laptops have gone missing.
