Piraeus Municipal Theater Revives Timeless Tale ‘The Bull Who Played the Pipe’

The Piraeus Municipal Theater is staging the classic animal welfare play ‘The Bull Who Played the Pipe’ by Eugene Trivizas, marking its 40th anniversary of continuous revivals and 56 years since its original publication. Directed by Konstantinos Rigos, with music by Dimitris Papadimitriou, the production explores the contrasting experiences of a celebrated bullfighter and a doomed bull. As the bullfighter prepares for his centennial match in Granada, unexpected events unfold that reveal the deep connections between him and the bull. The performance receives support from WWF.
